Hotlink protect all images on my domain except allow hotlinking from one directory only

Hello friends

My hotlinking is enabled in CPanel, now I have a problem. I trade banners with other sites, where we link to each others banners, since enabling hot linking on Saturday to protect my pics in the "/pics/" and other directories, the banners in my "/banner/" directory are protected too, this created a problem.

Any banners on other peoples' sites form my "/banner/" directory come up broken.

Is this possible to protect all gifs, jpg, .jpegs and .psd banners on my domain except for them in "/banner/"

The best option is everyone trading banners serves them off their site not hot link them.

Tip - Don't put your banners in a folder called /banner/ . Add blockers will pick that up and block it
