LOL good luck suing you for slander if you emailed him whatever you told him.
First of all people mix up slander and libel.
If your communication was with him by email and no one else, it would not even be LIBEL, let's get this out the way first.
LIBEL is where you write or put online some damaging lies about a person.
SLANDER is where you make make some damaging false stements about a person verbally.
In short
LIBEL - WRITTEN
SLANDER - VERBAL
Now let's say you actually emailed him (IN WRITING) obviously so it would fall under LIBEL not slander. And you wrote according to your post " you are a scammer and loser"
That is not slander but libel if it meets the legal requirements for Libel.
How is it LIBEL if you only told him your opinion, no one else read it so good luck to him winning the case.
Remember anyone can file a law suit, whether a judge will accept the case, if it goes to trial, who prevails and will the winning party even collect the judgment are another whole can of worms.
If a rep is avoiding paying you the affiliate payment you claim you are owed since may 1st they have bigger problems than suing you for Libel, they are to put it simply, BROKE.
I would not lose sleep over what he said. maybe send him this post so he realizes the difference between slander and libel
You can not be sued for stating the truth whether it is written or the spoken word. Defamation is not that easy to prove, you have to show damages and untruths about you by the other party.
Peace

People do not know the difference and use the two out of place
