My black list of IP's grew yet again

I can not believe how often this year the board gets swarmed with bots, I mean at some point I saw 126K in 24 hour stats. My techs keep black listing IP's and eventually there will be no IP left by the looks of it where people can reach the board

Anyways there was a big number of them in the past hour and they fixed it.

Yep we get this on a regular basis.

I was chatting to a colleague today and apparently his host (Mojo) has some software that looks for patterns in the stats. (ie the same kind of request being made over and over again). It will then automatically block a range of IPs either permanently or for just a few hours. Sounds like a useful tool

Bot attacks are part of the turf these days you should see my bot list and ip's I have blocked.
