No. All you do is piss the user off and make him not want to revisit your site again

Getting a user to your site is one thing, keeping him coming back is where the real money is

Conversions are very weak so why ruin the surfer's experience on your site.

20 years back they were a great source of additional sales, when companies would buy $3-5 cpm, no one even pays 1/20th of that today, so I say do not add them to your sites.

I remember those days. We used to use Autorank back then but people were using popunders, hidden iframes and even image src tags to send fake clicks. If anything, its got WORSE since then

Those who say that Popunders don't work either trying to scare away competitors, or just don't know how to work with them.
At HilltopAds – leading ad network and monetisation platform – Popunder is the most effective ad format.

Yes, it's annoying. But it's working. Mainly because it instantly captures user's attention. And with a right approach such strategy can be highly effective

Don't take just our word for it, read case studies based on results of our publishers:
- $343K from Niche Video Sites: How Custom Ads and Popunders Made It Work!
- How Japanese Publisher Earned $300K with Manga-Related Website and HilltopAds
- How I earn $1,200 weekly using HilltopAds Popunder mobile

We offer fixed cpms for testing period. You're more than welcome to try! (Here is the sign up link)

Those I agree are creepy and annoying , pop-unders that do not let you close them until you click on a link are just as annoying, regular pop-unders I have no issues with.
