Would you recommend people to move to your city

Just asking how you see your city life and would you recommend others to move there. I'd say come to Pasadena it's a great place in Los Angeles to call home.

I actually discourage people from moving to Los Angeles, but that's because there's so much that works against someone working age in this region unless they already have family in place. For example, if you grow up here, you have emotional support, a place to stay, family opportunities, etc.

It's really daunting to start from scratch here, looking for work, finding an affordable place, commuting, etc. Things are much more expensive now than they were 20 years ago too.

That said, I've encouraged friends to hold a "base of operations" here when it comes time for things like content shoots and events. Because there's a huge amount of opportunity here in Southern California. I've said if there's only 10 of something in the world (cars, musical instruments, gadgets), at least 2 of it is in LA. Drop in, make your bucks, stay for a couple of weeks, bug out.

And if one is retiring with a huge nest egg, Los Angeles, especially the suburbs like Pasadena, has incredible medical care for the elderly. Plus, the concentrated nature of the area means there's usually medical care nearby. So if you've got bucks, or have family who can take care of you, the weather and health care system are good for retirement.
