Im not saying they are going to get into NATO (anytime soon anyway). Im just saying that, right from the outset, Zelensky offered to stand down if it would help his country's membership to NATO.

I dont give a damn what Trump says. He'll be gone in a few years and Europe will be left picking up the pieces.

Trump could end this war right now (as he promised to do during his campaign) if he put the slightest political pressure on Putin but he wont. Even his last 2 National Security Advisers from his first term have both said that they don't understand what hold Putin has over Trump and why Trump always backs down. Russia was the only country on the planet that he didn't tariff. Trump says its because we don't do business with Russia...... well you don't do business with Iran either but he still tariffed them !! It's not as if Russia is even a superpower anymore. Their economy is roughly the same size as the Netherlands.

NOBODY is suggesting that Ukraine should join NATO right now but all 32 NATO member states have said that they should have the right to join once this war is over. Its the ONLY way to ensure peace

No surprise Israel has detained Great Thumberg and some others and is taking the ship to Israel. Probably the dumbest thing they could do because detaining her and others will get more press coverage to the plight of the starving palestinians in Gaza.
