What type of cancer and what stage?
There is no official diagnosis yet. Biopsy is still in the progress.
But from what I saw on the MRI report it's Endometrial 4B
If it was me knowing I have stage 4 cancer that has spread, what I would do is smoke medical marijuana, try enjoy what time I have on this earth and not care about going thru with chemo or radiation. Stage 4 you are fucked why add more discomfort of radiation and chemo.

Best wishes to him.

Platinum based chemo + target +- immunotherapy

Big pharma makes a killing on cancer drugs, let's face it, when you have cancer you will pay any amount they ask in the hope of getting cured.
Yeah prices are rough
2-4k for one infusion with 6-8 rounds just to manage it

I agree brotha, you should never give up on life, do what the doctors recommend, not trying to cure is not the answer to any disease.

I wish your relative all the best.

doctors are just ordinary people, limited by their own experience and driven by the interests of “big pharma”. .....

Cancer treatments are big money I saw some of the bills for my uncle when he went with chemotherapy and radiation after his prostate cancer.

Realistically true everything comes down to making money.

Yes monsta money makes the world go round in good and bad times. You don;t think people made billions during the Covid-19 pandemic, they sure did.

Patient received a first chemo
It was long journey from diagnosis to first treatment

During this period we tried low-carb diet (while waiting numerous tests and oncologists appointments), but it didn’t go well
Fatigue was so extreme because tumor was sucking up all glucose from the blood. No matter if it supplied from outside.
And appetite decreased so we stopped it

In theory this work, but in the field you have limitations
But we will try again when tumor will shrink

Chemo is not easy on anyone but it is one of the most common treatments, hope your friend does well, good luck.
