Why are former Skype users not switching over to teams, I see some now on telegram, some on Whatsapp, why not keep it simple go to teams instead of the rest of us having to download other apps.

member of a long time group chat stopped receiving messages for days.

free skype features are now paid only.

Why couldn't Microsoft just keep Skype ad teams, what is the worse thing they would have some users on each still a MS product.
