I never believed in the look or colors of any forum making an impact to it's usefulness or activity. The most important thing for me is how the members interact and do business. We can change the color but I doubt it will change anything. Some of us spend time here every day and some come by every so often, so if regulars voice an opinion we can proceed accordingly.

Just an idea try a pale background see how it sits with members, not too dark.
