If they waste my time by complaining that I interrupted after I apologized and gave them the floor, then I am very unlikely to give them the floor ever again.

Mostly I have this issue with women and .. I don't like to say the left, but that does seems to be where they are.
I have clients that are so far left. Honestly, I do not know how they stay in business.

No matter what evidence you give them, they rarely changes their opinion.
Often some admits this, thus why I still talk to them.
Few know it is an issue and learn that the problem is that they are just not smart enough / capable enough to full comprehend the full scope of the data and shut down and refers back to what ever makes them feel better.

In their dream life Bambi never dies. had this conversation with my X today as our 8 year old granddaughter met a deer in the yard today. I was forced to explain why she could not keep it as a pet. And why we need to help it move away. Local laws make it illegal to have wildlife as pets. If they learn she is feeding and treating it as a pet, they have a history of coming and taking the animal and killing it. My X did NOT want to go into this with the 8 year old so pretty much forced me to.
The 8 year old takes serious conversations with me very serious. I don't talk to my grandchildren like.. well you guys read my shit,
the grandkids call me "Grumpy" Yep, not gramp or grandpa or pops.. Grumpy. When I speak to them they listen.
Anyone that is why Bambi is on my mind.

My point, Bambi is a cartoon and might not have died in the cartoon. However, his parents do. which is foreshadowing that he will and that we all will and a life lesson that sooner or later Bambi would die, if he were a real life person and not a deer in a cartoon.
The point most women and some men and most people on the left can not comprehend this level or thinking.

I would like to think so, I would like it.
However, there are other issues that arose during the drinking, that I am NOT dealing with well.
She barely admits these issues exist and has excuses and has only kinda apologized once.
She gets upset if I bring them up, like I am just supposed to forget what she did overnight or something.

drinking was the main issue, her lack of accountability is the other, then the lies. etc.
Hard to throw 34 years out the window. hard to see another 34 happening.
