Hungary banned LGBTQ+ events

Not surprising they are a Christian conservative country

"Hungary's parliament passed a law on Tuesday banning LGBTQ+ pride events, including the famous Budapest Pride march that attracts thousands of people every year.

The new legislation was put forward only a day earlier and the measure was pushed through parliament in an accelerated procedure thanks to the ruling coalition's supermajority that allows it to amend the constitution.

The legislation, passed in a 136-27 vote, is supported by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's party Fidesz and their minority coalition partner, the Christian Democrats."

Stop looking for reps if they don't care why waste your time and traffic at their program, fuck that.

It's every country's decision to pass laws , the people elected the legislators and by the looks of it 136 to 27 is an overwhelming majority.

A lot of countries are electing more conservative governments, it's not good for the lgbtq communities in those places.

Not for or against lgbtq rights but elections have consequences and I think the people who voted in this leader must support what he is doing

Let them vote in new representatives who will be sympathetic to their cause.

If amending the constitution will require a referendum and it passes then the people of Hungary are in support of this, that is democracy in action.

Europe leaned too far towards the left and woke culture and some places the people said time to end this so they voted for more conservative leaders.

The Hungarian parliament passed an amendment to the Constitution recognizing only male and female sexes and can ban any LGBTQ+ events now.
