We will be offering Crypto and Paypal in the near future

The vast majority of users prefer credit card with around 15-20% using Paypal.
How come Paypal allows adult site memberships when they throw such a stink about adult transactions?
Segpay and Epoch have done a deal with them. I think its something like $900 a year to be on-boarded with them and so long as segpay/epoch keep the chargebacks under 1% then Paypal are ok with it.
So Paypal is no to adult but if you pay a fee they say it is acceptable?
Give me celebrity porn

• cryptocurrency payments

Cost of service - depends on the topic, turnover, average check, payments, % refunds, payout options.

It is discussed individually.

To be fair, Visa and Mastercard also charge a yearly fee for high risk businesses like adult. But yes, Paypal are happy to work with adult via 3rd party billers like segpay and epoch. The downside is they charge a very high percentage. I think its around 16%-17% which is a problem for us because we only pay around 5.5% for credit cards through our merchant account. Last thing I want is for all our users to suddenly decide to start using paypal instead of credit cards. I think the only way to do it is to uplift the prices if the users wants to use Paypal.

The only problem with Crypto for membership sites is that you cant do rebills.

One time I read it might have changed in some states you can not charge more depending on the payment method.

IDEA: Give them a month, 3 months, 6 months or annual one time payment.

Crypto payments will grow over time, but rebilling is the key issue, we need to rebill automatically.

The paysite business model is based on recurring billing not the one time payment.

That's true but you can simply uplift the price for a non-recurring membership

We are about to launch Credit Card, Paypal, Crypto and SEPA memberships :D

No SEPA stands for Single Euro Payments Area. Its basically a quick and easy way of doing bank transfers anywhere in Europe but again, its no good for rebills

Im considering uplifting the price for Crypto and SEPA payments as they are one off, non-rebilling joins. On the other hand, the rates are much lower on those two options (appx 5%) so maybe it will work out

One thing I like is the rates not these outrageous rates third party billing companies have charged adult subscriptions since day one. Not to get exact form the start they were charging 15% and a 5% 90-180 hold on top for refunds and charge backs. That is one fifth of your sales price going to billing.
