My girlfriend uses Teams for her work, I asked her what she thinks of this and said nothing wrong with the move to Teams.

Never move to a Microsoft tool. Only use them as a last resort.

Everything Microsoft touches turns to dust.

Profit at any cost is their motto.

My personal opinion.

Teams works fine it's no big deal switching it over.

Not true?
what is not true?
how can my opinion be not true?

Almost everything Microsoft touches turns to dust? Would that be more accurate?
What I really meant was that Microsoft buys things and then they go to shit.

Who spends billions and then lets the D team operate the investment?

Microsoft siad it would import my data from skype to teams..

NOPE!
Several others have attempted too and NOPE!

The main person I use skype with can not find me on teams nor can I find them.

Teams certainly says this will not be an issue. It certainly is.
and yes I synced skype and teams.

NONE of my skype contacts are in there. But somehow all my PHONE contacts are and I did not approve that.

If Microsoft who owns both platforms has not figured out a way to move the Skype contacts to TEAMS then they have dropped the ball, maybe they have that feature and we have not seen it yet.
