Trump was happy and sincere in his statements.

Has it gone down well with the black community, that is what counts.

Here's a little badass Black History

Actor Samuel L. Jackson once took several college teachers hostage, including MARTIN LUTHER KING SENIOR!

No joke! In 1969, Senior was a college professor at Morehouse College in Atlanta. His son was assassinated in 1968. Jackson was an usher at Junior's memorial.

As part of a college protest, Jackson and fellow students locked professors in a room, demanding more black studies classes and reforms. While King was sympathetic to the cause, he was one of those trapped. Professor King would later be released due to health issues, but instead of opening the door, students roped him down from a window.

While their demands were met, Jackson would be convicted of felony charges and he was suspended from the college. He would later change his major from biology to theater, and graduated in 1972.
