My girlfriend has a tickle in her throat, started coughing last night, a little tired and weak, no fever though. She is fine sitting up when she was lying down her cough got worse. Any of you have similar symptoms?

It might not be covid 3 of my friends have a bad cold but not covid.

Just an update I went to a doctor yesterday afternoon, very professional and caring lady in her late 30's spent an hour checking me out discussing my situation.

So the best guess now is it started as a virus, has turned into bronchittis and the new medication list is.

Symbicort inhaler 2 times a day I have never had an inhaler, it's simple to use no big deal.
A nasal wash, I bought it but never tried any of these home remedies of sniffing up some salt water or any thing like this, she insisted I do it 3 times a day, but it sounds to me like water boarding and not opened the package yet.
Oh some Doxycycline which is a tetracycline antibiotics which by definition is useless for a viral infection but the lungs are getting worse so she thought it might prevent this thing turning into pneumonia,

For the laryngitis she said don;t worry it'll go away on it's own in a couple of weeks that's the least of your problems.

The cough that is what keeps me form sleeping a winkl.

Right now I wish it was Covid, I had it a few times in 2023 and 2024, it was over in 5 -6 days, this shit is going on since new years eve and not getting any better.

Just talking out loud here, I think there is a new virus that might be about to be a pandemic but no one is openly talking about it so as not to scare the people and panic them. Too many people I know have been sick for a week or more this year. This is not your common cold out there.

Not a conspiracy but my gut tells me there is some dangerous virus out there that can turn as bad as Covid-19.
