How do people get away telling all in interviews and books

What is the deal with people who go on shows, give interviews and write books exposing who they slept with, who was a bad fuck. What about privacy and being sued?

Its not easy to sue somebody. You first have to demonstrate that what they said was untrue and secondly, that it caused you a "measurable loss". In other words, you have to be able to put a monetary value on it. You can't just say it caused you stress or anxiety etc.

If somebody says you were a bad fuck then that is just their opinion which they are entitled to
