I have no idea what they are but I seriously doubt anything even a fly enters US airspace without the knowledge and approval of the US government especially after 911.

Im not sure but there does seem to be a bit of hysteria going on here. There was a thing on the news last night where they looked into a whole bunch of these and every single one they were able to match up with a known flight path of a manned airplane. On top of that, all the "drones" seem to be using standard aviation warning lights for manned aircraft (ie green on the left, red on the right) and lets not forget its almost impossible to tell the size of something flying at 10,000 feet up or whatever.

Of course, no politician wants to tell people that they are just seeing things but I think that's why they keep saying there is no threat. The last thing they want is for people to start opening fire on any light aircraft they happen to see in the sky
