Why the American people overwhelmingly voted for Trump, they are smart, they are tired of their country wasting hundred's of billions of dollars on Ukraine.
They do not want a direct war with Russia. Russia against 32 Nato countries means they will resort to nuclear weapons. Biden or whoever told him to authorize this has made America and the whole world a very dangerous place. He doesn't care he is old leaving office in 2 months, he started this war and want's to make trump's time harder in finding a peaceful resolution.
If I was Trump and truly wanted an end to this conflict I would already have picked up the phone called the acting president of Ukraine told him, don't you dare. You use an American long range missile to strike Russia I will stop all aid to Ukraine the first minute I am in office. My second call would be to Putin to tell him Zelensky is on notice.
Russia is not joking, read this article.
https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/ukraine-r ... -1.7385817
"The Kremlin said on Monday that any U.S. decision to allow Ukraine to fire American missiles deep into Russia would mean it was directly involved in the conflict.
When asked about weekend reports by the New York Times and Reuters that Biden's administration had made the decision on long-range strikes, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov noted that the reports were not based on any official statement."
"If such a decision was indeed formulated and brought to the Kyiv regime, then this is a qualitatively new round of tension and a qualitatively new situation from the point of view of U.S. involvement in this conflict," Peskov said.
But my opinion is Biden didn't start this war and nor did Zelensky. The only person who started this was was Putin and he did it because we let him get away with it in Crimea and so he has come back for more. And if we let him get away with it again, he will come back for even more
Remember as soon as Zelensky came to power, he flew to Paris for his one and only meeting with Putin and asked him what it would take to stop the fighting in the east ? Putin claimed he knew nothing about the fighting in the east and that it was nothing to do with him. Well now we know that was bullshit. Then there was a flurry of world leaders who went to meet Putin personally to try and persuade him not to start the war (even promising him that Ukraine would not join NATO for at least 10 years) but Putin refused to listen. This is Putin's war
Putin threatened to escalate if we provided long range missiles. He threatened again if we supplied tanks, then again if we provided jets, and again if any of his territory was invaded. We shouldn't back down to ruthless dictators just because they threaten to escalate. What happens if China threatens to escalate ?? Should we back down them too ???
Thats just my opinion and a lot of Americans (including republicans) agree
As always, "Ok we will have to respectfully agree to disagree on this one" we might not see eye to eye on certain topics but that is what counts.
Zelensky is going to get pushed out by his generals, people or Trump, he is the problem to a peaceful resolution. He thinks he is the one to call the shots, when Americans decide he has served his usefulness they will tell him go away. Who was it that initialed the draft peace agreement in Turkey couple of months after the conflict started then refused to implement it. On the orders of Bojo if I may add. Zelensky is only a tool being used not the one who calls the shots. The problem with these tools is after a while they start believing in the lies and hype that they have a say, no they don't.
