Hugh Hefner's son Cooper wants to buy Playboy for $100 million
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/a ... rises.html
"Hugh Hefner's son Cooper Hefner is seeking to acquire Playboy Enterprises for $100 million.
On Monday, the 33-year-old announced he made a $100M offer to acquire Playboy Enterprises. He stated he made the offer on behalf of his private equity firm.
In a statement announcing the bid, Cooper, whose late father founded the iconic publication, described the brand's sentimental value as he described his vision of 'reimagining' Playboy's future while remaining 'true to its heritage.' "
My 2 cents take it back to what it was, beautiful women, celebrities and high profile interviews. Forget all the woke crap out there and make your father proud.

I think the whole go non-nude and appeal to all spectrum of society failed and Playboy management got some of the message. Playboy for me was a softcore elegant females in semi nude poses and good articles. It was not a catch all magazine, well website now for all life styles.
You wanted more hardcore there was Hustler, you wanted to see men there was Playgirl.

Playboy was certainly king back in the days of magazines but are they really so big these days ??? So much competition out there, I'd be surprised if their profits aren't dropping rapidly. I guess that's why he's offering only $100 million which is probably the value of the name and logo but not a lot else
Just my opinion

Not sure if they still run it today though. From what I can see, the value of playboy is in the name and the logo. I doubt the actual business is doing much these days
