I have not seen any of the Star wars movies so asking, Has there ever been a gay or lesbian Storm trooper what ever that is?

According to the article, that same character has been in Star Wars for the last couple of years and its only now that she has been exposed as transgender that people are up in arms about it ???

At the end of the day, does it really matter ??? It's like saying we are tolerant of gays...... just so long as they don't appear on our TV screens
