OOOps another EV not doing too well this time the FIAT 500e why am I not surprised, build cars people want not EV's.

" Stellantis is pausing production of the Fiat 500e, Automotive News Europe reported.
The stoppage comes after slowing demand in the European market.
Fiat has sold just 204 units of the 500e in the United States so far in 2024."

The Chinese makers are going to be the biggest sellers of ev's in the world. So are we basically killing our home industry to help the Chinese.

They are being sanctioned 100%, which means the buyers will pay more and the company selling them will still get their money form pre-sanction days, go figure.

Yeah but look at whats happening already in the world. We've just had the hottest summer on record globally, followed by massive floods across Europe and now extreme hurricanes hitting the USA. This is what scientists have been warning us about for years and ICE cars are a HUGE contributor to greenhouse gasses

The longer we leave it, the worse its going to get and eventually we will reach a tipping point where we CANT go back and it will just keep getting hotter and hotter

If Tesla comes out with a Model 2 priced $10K cheaper than the model 3 it will be a big hit

You don't see my crying, people want gas cars, give them the option to buy gas, diesel, hybrid or Ev not mandate the damn EV's down everyone's throat by 2035.

"Ford is planning to temporarily halt production of the F-150 Lightning, as reported by CBS News.
The break will last from November 15, 2024, to January 6, 2025.
Ford has implemented price cuts on the F-150 Lightning in recent months, with the 2025 model's base price starting $7215 lower than in 2024."

If we left it up to the users then everybody would just carry on driving gas cars. They are cheaper, less hassle, you don't need chargers...... but the planet would just keep getting hotter and hotter and by 2030 we would have past the tipping point. After that, there is no going back. We would be in a run away greenhouse effect

Like I just said in the other thread, what we do this decade will define humanity for hundreds of years to come
