I think there was a large group of voters who weren't enthused by either Trump or Biden. Especially younger voters who didn't feel a connection with either candidate. They are now all lining up behind Harris.

Plus there is the "first black woman president" factor

And I have to say, Trump is NOT helping himself with all the personal attacks. Questioning her ethnicity, calling her dumb and low IQ etc. He needs to stick to policies and stop the personal stuff because its turning people away from him

I hate racism in all its forms. Thats one of the things that turned me off Trump when he refused to condemn the white supremacists at Charlottesville instead saying there were (quote) "fine people on BOTH sides", and he told the Proud Boys to (quote) "stand back and stand by". This was not fake news, I watched him say it and I dont understand how any black person can support that ?
