My memory of you was that you wanted me to go above and beyond the simple script installation and support by asking for customizations which would take many hours, and I should be happy to do so because it would be good exposure for Tube Ace.

The standalone version?

Since it just felt like I was trying to "re-invent the wheel" from 100% custom code and spending so much time creating many basic CRUD features, I decided to just focus primarily on the embedded video importing functionality.

I asked myself, why would I try to make multiple themes myself when there is a whole open-source ecosystem within WordPress? As far as I know, I was the first person to integrate the RedTube API into a WordPress plugin.

I believe Tube Ace standalone was released two years before MechBunny came around. My only competitor in 2008-09 was Zorgman who had TEVS and folded shortly after the release of Tube Ace. Tube Ace standalone never had membership billing, nor did I ever intend on adding that functionality. MechBunny used to cost $1,000 which was 5 times the price of Tube Ace standalone. I had no interest in coding multiple billing extensions and all that, so I pivoted and went the WordPress route.

GFY is comprised of 98% nameless, cowardly soulless rats, who couldn't provide a photo of themselves with a relatively attractive woman to save their lives. Needless to say, I will not be missing that place. The remaining 2% don't even bother posting any longer. That place is dunski.
