The end of one of the sexiest sports cars ever. The true heir of the famous E-Type of the 1960's a sad sad sad day in automotive history.

Ive always liked Jags and as it happens, my brother was director of R&D for their first EV - the Jaguar I-Pace. Part of his retirement package was a "car for life" so every year he gets a brand new top of the range jag !!

Wow what a lucky guy (smart too or he would not have held that role) do you think jaguar will ever produce another XJ that was the real jag for me.

I wish that becomes reality it’s so much better than that eyesore Ian Callum did to the last version of the XJ it never had the presence of an S Class or 7 Series.

The headlights look weak,Jags used to have 4 round lights, that was a trade mark of the brand, they need to incorporate that into any future design.

What the company has to do is go up market, become a niche player not try take on Audi, BMW and Mercedes in sales numbers.

That would be a great plan going forward and build sports cars and sporting saloons not run of the mill 4 wheel generic look cars just to sell in bulk.

It was a bloated XJ-S if you ask me, not a sports car but a grand tourer. The interior switch gear was too "Ford" looking but that is no surprise, Ford used to own Jaguar back in the 1999-2008.
