alex see that's the thing there will be 5 or 6 in a week and then nothing for months. It looks to me some company throws out a bunch of spam one time and then try again 6 months later.

that makes sense, if your website is not dedicated to sharing pirated content you won't receive a whole lot of them and they are rarely consistent
not sure if you guys saw this yet - https://www.michaelbest.com/Newsroom/34 ... nt-Damages
basically there is no statute of limitations on copyright claims as of May 9th, 2024 that means those DMCA notices you may have ignored at some point or will ignore in the future can be the end of your business. Over the past year alone, the number of people reporting infringements nearly doubled, that means the market size is starting to get big enough for attorneys to notice, the next step is lawsuits like they are happening en masse in the ADA compliance space. Speaking of which, you guys may want to test your websites to see if they are compliant (I have no relation to them, just something an attorney friend of mine told me about yesterday) and make the minor fixes - https://accessibe.com/accessscan
Why risk it?

As an affiliate webmaster can you use the defense that you were using the sponsor content and you believed in good faith their 2257 was valid?
