Have any of you owned or even driven and EV ? Ive had 30 years of driving a normal petrol car and 3 years of driving an EV and there is no way I would go back

A common misconception about EVs is so called "Range Fear". That is the idea that you will run out of charge and have to sit and wait for hours for your car to charge up but thats NOT how EVs work. I simply plug mine it at home and every time I leave the house I essentially have a full tank of fuel (approx 200 - 250 miles). Also with a petrol car you have to find and physically get to a petrol station whereas my EV can be charged when Im NOT using it (eg at home, at the supermarket, golf course etc)

Its much cheaper to run and hardly any servicing required (no oil change, fuel pumps etc) and the parts last way longer. For example, brake pads last up to 10 times longer in an EV than in a petrol car

And, of course its good for the planet.

This is true but the problem is shipping liquid hydrogen (which is VERY explosive) to fuel stations and having it in the car itself. An accident could have serious consequences
