Explain to me how letting the whole charging team go has not collapsed the charging side of Tesla. So what were they there for?

who the hell is at the stations now? who repairs them??? bae88dvg
Tesla has abruptly fired the team running its electric vehicle charging business, raising doubts about the future of one of the largest US charging networks, which other carmakers, such as General Motors and Ford, have said they will also use.6 days ago

When Musk bought Twitter he laid of a ton of employees, Twitter lives just fine. You see any Tesla cars stuck on the road for lack of charging stations?
He knows how to run a business. He cuts down on excess expenses.

As someone who owns and drives an EV, I can tell you its a hell of a lot more convenient and cheaper than running an ICE car.

You have to get out of the mindset of driving an ICE car where you drive it round until your low on fuel. Then you have to drive to a petrol station and fill up. That is a chore whichever way you look at it. With an EV, the car charges when you are NOT using it.

Imagine hitting the road EVERY DAY with a full tank of fuel ??. Your NEVER going to run out of charge because every morning, the car is fully fueled and ready to go

Even when I go to the supermarket or the golf course, I plug it in even if its only for half an hour or so. I cant remember the last time mine got below about 50% charge

I NEVER have to visit a petrol station and my running costs are a fraction of what they were before. They need much less servicing too because there's no oil change or anything like that needed and its quicker than ANY ICE car you will find on the road

Once you've owned an EV, I can tell you that you will NEVER want to go back to an ICE car

you can't be serious... you live in a rural area and not a city... correct??? charging vs fueling.... you can't just park a ev anywhere in a city... ex... you need court or groceries. you need to fuel it correct? it needs more fueling to go the distance of gas powered.... it's fine for hobbyist such as yourself.

No I live in a city. Every night I plug it in at home and its fully fueled and ready to go every morning with around 250 miles in the tank

I can top it up pretty much anywhere, supermarket, golf course, cinema, public car parks etc but, to be honest you never need to. When was the last time you drove more than 250 miles without a break ????

You have to stop thinking like an ICE driver. You NEVER run an EV down to an empty battery. I dont think mine has ever been lower than about 50%

You say not in your lifetime....BUT ITS ALREADY HAPPENING !

Nobody is mass producing ICE cars anymore. Not that its a political issue but It doesn't matter what Trump does or says, manufacturers are NOT going to switch back to mass producing ICE cars when the rest of the world is demanind EVs

No matter how much you want to make this some kind of biden issue, its not. Its about science and EVs are here to stay. You have LOST the argument

The electrical grind need upgrading otherwise we will have power outages when more EV's are on the road. Finding available charge points is another headache to contend with.

Watch Scotty Kilmer give his review of the new 2023 Honda Accord Sport Hybrid, listen to what he says about full ev's and plug in hybrids and why a hybrid is the best way to go. The batteries do not wear out as fast being inside the car and not exposed underneath to the water and road salt.
