As a sushi lover I was shocked to read this, I eat raw mushrooms and out the in my salads.

"Donna Ventura went out to lunch and her family says she ordered the special roll at a sushi restaurant. An hour later, Ventura was clinging to life with severe food poisoning. She later died in the hospital. The health department says the morel mushrooms that were served to Ventura were raw. They also say over 50 individuals reported becoming sick after consuming morel mushrooms at Dave's Sushi Restaurant in Bozeman, Montana. Her family is suing the restaurant which denies any wrongdoing. Inside Edition’s Jim Moret has more."

If you go pick wild mushrooms you best know what you are looking at, it is not the first time I hear people getting very sick or dying from eating mushrooms.

Side note why microwaving left over is always a good idea, it kills and germs and bacteria that might have got on the food. I even microwave pizza when they deliver it.

I saw this guy online pick his own mushrooms, I thought it would be cool to go get some from the wooded area by my house.......not smart

Never pick them off trees or broken tree branches on the ground, that is what I think caused my poisoning.
