about accepting cookies notice
Some sites do this right, when they ask you if you accept the cookies they give you an option to decline all, some just have accept and customize.
I think the way this has to be done is
Accept, decline and if they want a 3rd choice customize (optional).
What do you think

My advise is to make the cookie notice as un-obtrusive as possible. There is no requirement for it to be an in-your-face notice that the user has to click on
A line at the bottom of the page saying something along the lines of "If you continue to use this site then you are accepting our cookie policy" with a link to your policy will do. Dont make it modal, allow the user to carry on browsing as normal.

Hopefully they won't require a minimum font size one day.tacnet wrote: ↑April 4th, 2024, 11:19 pmMy advise is to make the cookie notice as un-obtrusive as possible. There is no requirement for it to be an in-your-face notice that the user has to click on

Actually a lot of countries (including the UK) are looking at doing away with this requirement altogether. Its become meaningless now and it just means that every site you visit you have to click the cookie notice all the time. Its made browsing a much bigger pain in the ass.TheButcher wrote: ↑April 5th, 2024, 9:14 amHopefully they won't require a minimum font size one day.tacnet wrote: ↑April 4th, 2024, 11:19 pmMy advise is to make the cookie notice as un-obtrusive as possible. This is one of those things that some politician thought was a good idea and didn't realise that pretty much every site in the world uses cookies and would therefore have to display a cookie notice
