I think some of you are missing the larger geo-political picture here

You have to ask yourself, if Ukraine is destined to loose then why are so many countries (nearly half the world infact) still committed to supporting them ????? Its not because we simply hate Putin, there's no NATO directive to supporting them and we are NOT all simply stupid !

Russia is allied to some of our BIGGEST enemies in the world. China, Iran, North Korea, Syria etc all of which have two things in common. They are ALL authoritarian dictatorships and they ALL hate the west. Make no mistake about it, if there is to be a future show down with China then these are the countries we will be up against.

If we let Putin off the hook now, how long do you think it will be before he is supplying the likes of North Korea or Iran with nuclear weapons (if he's not already done so) ???? Both countries have been trying to develop them for decades so you can be sure that's what they are asking for in return for all the drones and missiles they have been supplying to Russia

How much stronger will China be with a victorious and intact Russia as one ally and a nuclear armed North Korea and Iran as its other allies ???

Ontop of that, the Wagner group is instigating one military coup after another across Central Africa. Just a few days ago, Niger confirmed they have kicked out the 10,000 USA anti-terrorism forces stationed there and instead, have signed a security deal with the Wagner group. This secures Russia's supply of gold and mineral resources.

And for those who think that we are wasting billions and its driving our economies into recession, most countries are comitting around 2% of their GDP to NATO (only part of which goes to supporting Ukraine). That's aboout 1 WEEKS TURNOVER and most of that money is going straight back into the economy in anycase to pay for arms manufacturing. That's a small price to pay to keep Putin out of the picture for any future conflict with China.

Russia winning this war would be a disaster not only for Ukraine but for the entire world.
