Former president Trump filed an appeal today to have the ruling over turned.

His legal fees must be huge in a case involving so much money.

Update to this story getting the $464 million bond is becoming a problem.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-legal- ... 58285.html

"Former President Donald Trump’s lawyers tell a New York appeals court that he faces “insurmountable difficulties” in securing the $464 million bond from lenders, which he is required to pay as he appeals the judgment in his financial fraud civil trial. Trump is also asking the court to lower the amount he must pay while he appeals the case. Here are the latest legal developments facing the presumptive Republican presidential nominee for 2024."

His supporters say there was no victim so why should he be charged ?

I would argue that if you get pulled over for drink driving but you didn't actually hit anybody then your still guilty of drink driving

He has a few options tomorrow, get the court to agree to no bail or a smaller amount as he appeals the judgment, come up with the cash or a bond himself or file bankruptcy put a stay on the enforcement of the judgment until he comes up with a bond or gets it appealed. One way or another you will not see Trump being confiscated of his assets or cash tomorrow, he is too smart for that shit.

An appeals court reduced the bond from $450 million plus to $175 million and Trump has 10 days to post bond, it's a big win!

On the one hand, Trump claims the judiciary system has been weaponised by the Democracts and is out to get him but here they are not only giving him 30 days grace to start with, they've also slashed the value of the bond and given him another 10 days grace to pay it !

Just proves that this is NOT some kind of mass witch hunt on behalf of Biden. That's just yet another of Trump's conspiracy theories

This was never a case to begin with. I'll say it how I see it without being polite, this was bullshit from start to finish and Trump will win the on appeal. No one no company no bank lost a cent, they made money. Even the banks that loaned Trump money testified they all got paid plus interest and would do more loans for him and his companies. This woman was out to get him even when she was trying to be district attorney.

Even a kid can see this, you list your assets as high as you think they are worth, the banks who lend you money do their own appraisals and loan reviews, they lend on what they feel is the right amount of value. What is so hard to understand Trump did nothing wrong he borrowed money he paid back the loan plus interest and god knows how much in fees, everybody involved was satisfied.

Trump lost the NY civil case to the tune of $350 Million
