The administration or whoever is calling the shots in Ukraine has decided it is hasta la vista baby, this experiment is over, so under secretary of state for political affairs Victoria Nuland has submitted her resignation. The new focus will be China this one did not go down too well. We tried it did not go down too well, Russia has won but no one will say it out loud just yet.

But whichever way you look at it, you cant paint a Russian annexation of Ukraine as anything but BAD NEWS for the western democracies. It sends a clear and undenyable signal to other dictatorships around the world that international law means nothing, might is right and that they can get away with invading a smaller weaker neighbour. Dont forget who Putin's allies are - China who is already stated they will re-unite Taiwan with mainland China, Iran who have declared that they will wipe out Israel and North Korea who are on the verge of obtaining nuclear weapons.

You might argue that the USA has invaded countries in the past so whats the difference ??? Firstly, the USA is a democracy and answerable to its people. If the people dont agree with what the government is doing then they can vote them out. There are no such limitations for dictators like Putin, President Xi or Kim-Yung-Whatsisname. Secondly, the USA has never tried to expand its borders through war like Russia is doing right now and China is threatening to do

The point is, if Putin takes Ukraine how would he ever police it ??? You cant just stick a new president in office and expect the Ukranian people to accept it. They tried that in 2004 and 2014 and it led to the "Orange Revolution" . Mass protests all over the country. Thankfully they were peaceful protests but they achieved their aim of getting rid of the pro Russian president

The USA learned the same lesson in Afghanistan and Iraq. (Infact Russia also learned it in Afghanistan in the 80s). You cant just subjugate a country against its will and expect the people to lie down and take it. There will be insurgent attacks, more bloodshed and Putin will blame it ALL on the west.

For 2 years Ukraine succesfully held back Russia. Russia didn't move one inch forward from the font lines they established in 2022. They failed to gain air supremacy and they failed to cut off Ukraine from the black sea. Then Trump came along and stabbed them in the back

Most Americans want to support Ukraine and if thats not true, then why not let it come to the floor for a vote ???? Because Trump knows it will inevitably pass

Your worried about China ??? Well think how much stronger China will be with a victorious and newly invigorated Russia as their ally, Putin's best buddy Trump in the whitehouse and the NATO allies refusing to back up the USA because the USA abandoned them in Ukraine. That's a world that is a huge step closer to all out war !
