If we really went to the moon, why is NASA giving petrified wood to people saying it is from the moon.

The lunar samples have been studied by THOUSANDS of scientists all over the world for the last 60 years. We have some here right now in Oxford Univesity. They've been carbon dated to 4.5 Billion years old, thats older than any rock you will find on earth (and WAY older than any petrified wood)
