I put on around 50 pounds in the last 5 or so years and I no longer give a damn. There's still plenty of room to look around me. Lol.

I had to give up smoking and vaping. When I get on my feet my oxygen level takes a nose dive making physical activity a challenge. Eating is one of the things that I still enjoy and no one will get between me and my ice cream!

I gave up drinking it wasn't my first choice I enjoyed the beer but living was a better option than getting a liver failure in 6 months. I am diabetic, I have it under control, I eat everything including cookies, cake, ice cream, chocolates and all the rest, if and when I feel like them. I don't say to myself this is bad for me, I do it in small portions, very small portions. I can not come to terms with myself thinking I can not eat this, friends tell me to become a vegan eat fruits and vegetables. I hate all vegetables and have a fruit maybe once in 4 - 6 months.

I bet you feel happier than when you watched the scale every time you got on it. I know I do now that I stopped caring what people think of my car i drive. I stopped thinking about impressing people and spending on things I enjoy more.

The period in my life when I watched the scale and my fitness level was when i was in the military. I was required to maintain physical standards back then. I retired the scale when I got out and i was not in the habit of dieting or rigorous workouts. I just naturally maintained.

When COPD tackled my butt my life changed and my balance was thrown off. Oh well, life goes on. I emptied my closet and replaced my entire wardrobe. Everything I now own is comfortable, stretchy, loose fitting.

As far as impressing people goes, I never really gave a damn about that. Unless you pay my bills or provide me with a paycheck I couldn't care less about what you think. Well actually, even if you do I still don't give a damn. I'll do my thing regardless.

After some time I have come to this conclusion about my life.Always trying to acxt and be the man women I was seeing expected me to be, no more I am who Ia m they can date me or not.Spending more than I could afford at clubs popping $500 bottles of champagne to fit in to their expectations. No more baby.

Good looks and a nice body well dressed go a long way to being successful for any woman. Look at all the news anchors and models out there, they are not over weight zit faced ugly dressed chicks.
Just call me Joe it is my name after all

It has been a fantastic 10 days and before I forget Merry Christmas and happy 2024 to all, but come January 2nd 2024 I am going on a diet. Not by choice out of necessity. Any one else eat and drink more than usual over Christmas?

Good luck with your diet

I know my mom eats raw and steamed broccoli and she says it is good for cholesterol and diabetes which she is blessed with both. Is it true I have no idea just saying what I heard.
