For once I have to agree with everything gotonudecom has posted here. Especially the posting your link in your signature. I really dont understand why more of you dont do it ??? Im seeing users with thousands of posts on this forum and not one of them is linked to their sites ???? madnessgotonudecom wrote: ↑December 31st, 2023, 12:26 pmDo the technical stuff first. Be fast, be clean, and work on phone and desktop
more content hourly, daily, weekly, monthly. be sure to make some of it quality content.
Update google search console sitemap weekly.
Submit new pages to search console manually.
Post links to your new content to appropriate places.
Be active on all adult friendly social media.
Some people say this does not work for them. Well most people skip the technical stuff. or just half ass do it.
The list of SEO things you can do has gotten out of control.
so many people calling things SEO that were never SEO.
More like how to get traffic tips. I have enough clients performing enough random SEO to see what can work. There are a few that do a LOT of my suggestions and they get a lot of traffic for their industries and certainly a lot of business ( or they could not afford me).
DO not use AI for your textual content. Meaning don't use AI to create your content and the cut and paste the content onto your site. Change something. Then check it with a did an AI create this text tool.
At least make sure it is correct. I use AI a lot and every single one I have tested gets something wrong all the time.
Oh yeah! and put a link to your site/s in your signature on this forum... It is NOT going to hurt!
Why do you think I change and update mine on a regular basis?
Other questions I would like to see a thread on is ...
How much traffic is my site receiving from SEO?
How do I optimize my current SEO traffic?
How to optimize my site revenue? how many of you could be making more money if you adjusted your site to actually accommodate your current traffic?
Here's a few tips I would add :-
- Site Structure - Beware of your site structure. Typically your index page will carry the most weight (ie link juice) with google. So any pages linked directly from the index will get passed the most link juice. Any pages 2 links away from your index will get passed less link juice, 3 links is even less juice and so on. Ideally you want as flat a structure as possible.
- Page Titles - Page titles should be unique to each page and be less than 60 characters (over 60 characters gets truncated by google and could affect your scoring). Tip - Have you considered adding a date (at least a year) to your page titles ? Users will often search for the most up to date pages when searching google and if your page title has the current year in it, then that will boost your click thrus.
Example - click any thumbnail from https://xhamster.com/pornstars . Notice how the page titles (visible in the browser tab at the top of the screen) have the girls name plus the current year.
- Canonical Tags - If there are multiple versions of your page (perhaps your page can be sorted in different orders) then you dont want google indexing every possible version of your page. That simply dilutes your link juice. Instead use the canonical tag to tell google to add all the link juice to your default sort page
- Page Speed - Maximise your page speed with google's page speed insights https://pagespeed.web.dev/ . This is VERY important and often overlooked by webmasters. You want scores of 90% or over
