Is there a gene that makes you a conspiracy person?

Not looking to fall out with any one or two people here but I noticed the same people who do not believe in one scientific fact example climate change seem to not believe in other things. There has to be some gene or some fucking thing where it makes you doubt everything based in fact.

Yep totally agree. Ive been saying this over and over. People who buy into one conspiracy always seem to buy into EVERY conspiracy theory regardless of evidence, facts or how ludicrous the theory is.

And every time you prove them wrong on one particular point, they simply come back with another point and then another and it just goes on and on.

I think a lot of it is down to social media. People with way out theories have now got a voice and other people are taken in by it. Take the moon landings for example, there was never any talk of the moon landings being faked until well into the 2000's with the advent of social media.

Questioning what is said and being critical in thinking is a good thing in my opinion. Believing everything you hear or read is not always the truth or the best idea. There is a line where you can become paranoid and think everything said is a lie and that is another thing. My 2 cents.
