We can wish and I hope you are right but at least if we do have to deal with it and contract it let it pass as a mild cold not end up really sick. I had it twice last year and the second time was way worse.

The dragon has had it since New years eve, and it's not pretty, she had it last year, I had it twice in 5 weeks last year, this one is rough, the coughing does not stop. She is slightly better today,but I think these 2 latest variants namely HV.1 and JN.1 are much worse than the milder Omicron variants we had last year.
