EV car sales are not going too well for some companies - Hooray
I am not surprised and really not a fan of EV's. The only EV i like is the 7 Series from BMW, I honestly think Mercedes has the ugliest looking electric cars for a luxury brand, the S Class is nice then they go make the EQS which looks like crap. For some reason manufacturers make their electric cars look as weird and ugly as possible.
My other beef is not just about EV's but everybboy and their grand mother seems to think physical control knobs need to be replaced by a tablet stuck in the middle of the dash. Hey it's easier to turn the volume control using a dial or knob than going into a tablet. My last and most important beef with electric cars is the range and charging times.
Recently 3 of my friends were going about 580 miles with their families, 2 of them had ICE cars one has a Tesla Model Y. You guessed it when it's hot, you have 4 people and their luggage the guy had to stop for 40 odd minutes to charge his space ship while the other 2 guys pulled into a gas station filled up and left on their way in a few minutes. Now when you are a 18-50 year old guy and sit around at some charging station at night it's a lot safer than if some 18 year old woman is sitting alone in her car at night waiting for her electrons.
You probably already know I do not like EV's and will never buy one, but I am not alone, people are not buying them up as manufacturers planned. See this article on Caranddriver.com where Fprd is reducing production of their EV's and so too are other big name brands.

Heck build the damn things alongside ICE cars, don't ram the shit down our throats and make it mandatory in a few years to either buy a new EV or a used ICE vehicle.
End of rant, let me reiterate, I hate EV cars.
Peace

A BMW 7 Series since it looks like a normal car or I could go for a Rolls Royce Spectre if I had the money but that is about it.

they are not a good option if you are not wealthy. what if your battery fails or you don't have a charge? you can't fuel and go. there is just too much change with these.

The legend lives another year and hope it stays ICE for a very long time to come, how many V8 cars can you buy with a manual transmission these days, the Mustang is still true to it's roots.

Ford is reducing F159 Lightning production due to demand, it will be one shift form April and at the same time people are buying more Bronco and Ranger models which are gas powered and they get a 3rd production shift to keep up with demand.
