What the hell are you talking about ??? Are you referring to the failure SpaceX rocket recently ???? Of course they changed the design, the Saturn 5 was built to launch a tiny space capsule to the moon, barely big enough to hold 2 people

We are NOT trying to launch a tiny space craft to the moon this time. We are trying to go there and build a permanent moon base.

We need heavy lifting capabilities and something like the Saturn 5 would be absolutely useless for that !! That's why they have completely re-designed the rocket

Geez yes we watched an animation as they actually landed (because obviously there wasn't a TV camera set up on the moon to film the landing) but then we all watched the live broadcast as they stepped out onto the surface
