Do women care what a man drinks

My friend's girlfriend told me not to order beer when having a meal with a woman, she said men who order beer or white wine do not impress a woman,what is that all about I like beer and white wine, she said it makes you look weak. Have you heard such nonsense in your life?

If you start changing what you drink to impress a date you are fooling yourself not her. If you like white wine then that is what you have, beer should be poured in a glass when at a restaurant. At home, at a friend's house or anywhere except a formal setting I drink it out the bottle. Hell I used to drink it from a can when I used to chug it down.
See this is what most of us have been through when single,trying to impress the date by acting how we think they want us to act, it just is not going to work past the few dates, I know this might come across as dumb but you have to be who you are. I am not saying be rude, show no respect or manners, but be yourself.

I always enjoyed and still do opening the door and car door for women, I think it is kosher. Some people I know think it shows I am old fashioned and out of touch with the times, but you know what I don't care. Being polite and respectful does not go out of fashion in my book.

It is 2023 women want to be treated equal and when you open the door for them they think you are being dominating, not making this up I hear this from quite a few women I know.
