If history is any indication of things to come Africa will bend the knee to their former colonial masters and do what they are told. There are too many corrupt leaders who will take the money they are offered and do as they are told.

I think a lot of this is to do with Putin. He's had Wagner forces in Africa for years and supporting these military coups is a way for him to secure his supply of gold, diamonds and other minerals without having to keep thousands of soldiers there. Its the only way he can make money right now because his economy is tanking
