Facebook is not where I promote my sites and do not care about it.

I have never had an account on FaceBook and never thought of getting one, that's just me.

For adult or non=adult sites?

Instagram is still owned by Facebook, if you want to escape the scandal that they got into.

Are you sure they still own Instagram?

I've never had luck marketing on facebook other than just raw brand exposure.

I'd say it's like the claw machine at the bar. I have put in enough coins and never gotten something out, so I'm done doing it. Clearly someone manages to get the prizes out of the claw machine/facebook. But no matter how many tips and tutorials I've read, I just can't seem to grasp the prize.

It's fascinating to look back at discussions from five years ago and see how the digital marketing landscape has evolved since then. While the forum post you shared might have been relevant at the time, it's worth noting that trends in the industry can change rapidly.
