He offered to charge me hourly for consulting. After talking with him a few times I realized I am better off consulting with brassmonkey.

Let me set the record straight. I told him my initial consultation is 295.

I also told him that after that it goes on a monthly retainer.

The 295 is to avoid time wasters and there are lots of those around. If someone isn't willing to spend 300 bucks then they aren't serious. And if they don't want to spend it I'm fine with that. My main business is brokering sites anyway. I do consulting as a sidelight and a way to help those that need help. And he needs help.

But again, he's smarter than the rest of us put together with all his years in the business. Uh, wait, what has he done in this business besides buy this domain name?

Unless you see my bank account and the deposits that come in, you can only guess at what a disaster is.
