Its the "VALUE" of content that has dropped dramatically over the years and thats what's seen a LOT of sites go out of business. Including sponsors, affiliates, models, content sellers etc

10 years ago we could charge $30 a month for a site with say 30 galleries and a hand full of videos but not anymore. Its the same for free sites, if your only offering your users a handfull of pictures and/or videos then dont expect them to come back. Its not about GETTING traffic anymore, its about KEEPING it and the only way to do that these days is MASS CONTENT !!

You need THOUSANDS of galleries and/or videos updated regularly (daily of possible). Ideally you should be aiming for 60% - 80% of your hits to be repeat visitors. Ive seen so many sites over the years that focus all their efforts on getting new traffic (SEO, bought traffic etc) but dont have anywhere near enough content to keep it. They are the ones that dont make any money

If you dont have access to your own content then get it from your sponsors. For example, we have nearly 14,000 picture galleries, over 13,000 video trailers and over 120 full length tube videos

The trick is to grab as much content as you can and put it all on one BIG site. Drive your users to that site and thats how you will make money.
