why are reps so bad at their jobs

It's 4 days of skype & emailing to a rep at the sponsor program I have been using for years, and this new guy just will not answer back. Last I talked with him was Friday and he said he'll have my missing payment from May 10th sent that day. Then it's the golden silence treatment and no money.

Honestly I think companies that make reps deal with payment issues isn't fair. It's not their job, most of the time no one tell the reps any real info about what's going on with those and no access to find out. There needs to either be better communication between companies and reps re payments or a separate accounting department for affiliates to contact.

I hate to be a buzzkill, but a lot of companies don't care about affiliates on an individual level at all, so there's that, too...

If they are not on commission based on sales their affiliates produce they have less of an incentive to work harder.

I'm sure I made a bit more than average. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to tell anyone how much that was, though..

Without a base salary you are not going to attract the best people for the position, salary and commission would be good.

The pay has nothing to do with how you handle yourself and task, it can be any buiiness, you have to give your job 100% of your effort.

No excuse if a company is in business in 2018 or any other year they have to provide decent support to users.

If any companies are looking for reps, please let me know. I would love to do that again.
I got a couple companies interested but just kinda disappear after talking for a while and things looked good...

It boils down to motivation on part of the rep and training from the company they work for
