You have to love Ford for being true to the sports car

Where as every automobile manufacturer is rushing to electric and half ass hybrid cars, Ford still builds and has released a new generation of the eternal pony car, no secret I love manual transmissions and nothing beats a good old fashioned V8 engine running on that envirnoment damaging fossil fuel called gasoline.

Ford has released details of it's 2024 Mustang with a convertible too, it can be yours and mine with a stick shift, V* as either a coupe or convertible.

It gets better there will be a "Dark Horse" model too, and for the 4 cylinder turbo charged fans they have the ecoboost one too :(

Great nameplates such as the Camaro and Challenger are no longer going to be around but the original pony car races on.

GO FORD!!!!!!!

Having the choice of a rear wheel drive non-bastardized ( what i call hybrids) naturally aspirated V8 with a manual transmission in these times I'll overlook a lot of things, the grill is probably large to aid in cooling that engine.

Loo at Mercedes Benz, they used to have 6.2 litre V8's in their AMG cars, now some of them come with a 4 banger. The world has gone potty.

Wonder when they will go full electric with the Stang.
Stop looking for reps if they don't care why waste your time and traffic at their program, fuck that.

You can always tell a Mustang form a mile away they never went crazy about changing it's design on every generation they came out with, well done boys.

I have to admit, the Mustang is a good looking car

But for pure acceleration ..... well I was lucky enough to drive a Tesla Model S the other day and that would easily outpace pretty much any petrol engine car. The engine is at maximum torque when its at a standstill and when you put your foot down it does 0-60 in something like 2.3 seconds !! Thats faster than a lamborghini !

I grant you its not as good looking as a Mustang but still bloody quick

Ummm so if he was allegedly driving an ICE car at 100mph in a 45mph zone he would have not lost control of the car, oh I get it let's pin this unfortunate loss of life on the propulsion system of the vehicle not the speed it was travelling. I am only quoting from the article below.

The actor was driving in the Valencia neighborhood in Santa Clarita, California at a speed of over 100 mph in a 45 mph zone."

Electric cars might be fast off the line but they never sound as good as a gas engine tuned for performance.

Yeah I have to agree with you there. The other thing that I found a bit weird is that there are NO dials or buttons or anything inside a Tesla. Its ALL on a single touch screen on the center console

Electric vehicles sound like a broken sewing machine at best, and the funniest part is now they are trying to make them sound like gas engine cars.

Charger Daytona SRT concept has a fake exhaust sound.

Oh and this mad rush to integrating every single dial, knob or button into an iPad like infotainment screen pisses me off. It is complicating and distracting the driver when a simple traditional button or knob would suffice.

While on the subject of infotainment screens, everyone and their great grand mother is copying the Tesla IPad style thing that looks out of place in a car and looks ugly at best.

A lithium-ion battery fire releases large amounts of heat, smoke, and toxic gases, which can pose a serious risk to human health and the environment. One of the main reasons why lithium-ion fires are so dangerous is the rapid rate at which they can release energy. woo hoo!!!
