Just seen that in Beijing China they have had 5 days over 40 degrees in the last 2 weeks. Prior to that, they had only ever had 6 days over 40 degrees since 1951 !!!!

So only 6 days in the last 70 years over 40 degrees and in just the last 2 weeks they have had another 5

That is so true. Here in the UK, people dont have air con generally as we have never needed it before. None of our busses, trains etc have air con. But now there is a huge surge in people buying air con units

Yes of course it can be proved. The earth has had many ice ages and warm periods in the past but they have been over thousands or even millions of years. What's happening now is happening over the last few decades (since the industrial revolution)

Think of it this way, plants breath in carbon dioxide and for millions of years all that carbon dioxide has been locked away deep underground as coal and oil (fossil fuels). We are now burning all that fossil fuel and releasing all that carbon dioxide back into the atmosphere

The levels of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere have NEVER been this high in earth's entire 4.5 billion year history. And all this has happened in one generation. Think what its going to be like in 2 or 3 generations time
