Well one thing I'd like to mention is when the script was new and managed and all that. They allowed users to install it with free license on the condition that TE would get 2% of the traffic flowing through the templates. Why do they not still use this to generate income from script usage? They could sell the traffic or send to sponsors.

I doubt there is much value in the traffic they get because its completely un-qualified and skimmed (even if you are not using the skimming feature, they are to get their traffic)Zug wrote: ↑July 7th, 2023, 8:17 pmWell one thing I'd like to mention is when the script was new and managed and all that. The only way they can make any income from it is to switch to a monthly fee like pretty much all other online software. We pay $10 a month just for our video player (https://jwplayer.com/ )

Well, IF they do not care about it, then it should be easy to buy it or the source code.
If I had an extra $15k-$20k laying around sitting on top of my refrigerator I would reach out with an offer to them for full rights. Or, perhaps offer to buy 50% of the rights (contract) and fund them to continue development and get it upgraded to get those ad perks that are just waiting to make money - if it upgrades.

Yes to both points, they can not make money skimming a few hits and a monthly subscription will be easier on users and more money for them than hoping to sell a $495 script every now and then if they even sell one now.tacnet wrote: ↑July 7th, 2023, 9:41 pmI doubt there is much value in the traffic they get because its completely un-qualified and skimmed (even if you are not using the skimming feature, they are to get their traffic)Zug wrote: ↑July 7th, 2023, 8:17 pmWell one thing I'd like to mention is when the script was new and managed and all that. I would have to respectfully disagree. Everyone that uses the free version I'm sure works very hard with their traffic, whichever way they get it; buying it, trading it, SEO etc. The skim traffic that TE gets is from mostly gallery clicks (I THINK). When you use it's link options in your gallery links (whether you skim or not) to count for prod or the plug option etc is the only time it collects its' whole 2% from free users. And I am discovering that the only link it is sending to (from what I have seen so far) is this crap link going to 'system mechanic'. Which is no wonder why they are not making any money from their free users. If they got off their asses and stopped complaining that trade scripts are dead/no money to be made .. they would actually make some money!trafficseller wrote: ↑July 18th, 2023, 9:18 amThe traffic they get for the free version is worth dick, they can make a heck of a lot more charging even $10 a month for the script.tacnet wrote: ↑July 7th, 2023, 9:41 pmI doubt there is much value in the traffic they get because its completely un-qualified and skimmed (even if you are not using the skimming feature, they are to get their traffic)Zug wrote: ↑July 7th, 2023, 8:17 pmWell one thing I'd like to mention is when the script was new and managed and all that. If they adjust their shit to take 5% from free users and go ahead and charge $10 a month to those that don't want to give their 5% of traffic away. They could make progress. Instead of just giving up on a very good script that could be used on any site, not just adult stuff.
Further, upon installation, it asks what type of traffic you are using it with. So, if they plug in the type with a correlated type of link to skim to, they could make some money. They're just, like, depressed or something; no motivation.
Their free skim link goes to:
