That is right July 3 2023 yesterday was the hottest day around the world according to US National Centers for Environmental Prediction. The average global temperature reached 17.01C (62.62F).

can we put this down to global warming?

Last year the US had its coldest ever cold spell and Europe had its hottest ever heatwave. Both down to global warming

Global warming isnt about things getting warmer, its about more extreme weather. Both cold and hot.

Is global warming a real thing?
Global warming is the long-term warming of the planet's overall temperature. Though this warming trend has been going on for a long time, its pace has significantly increased in the last hundred years due to the burning of fossil fuels. As the human population has increased, so has the volume of fossil fuels burned.

My AC was on all day yesterday and at 4am I turned it down so it would not cool my home, and today it's been blasting. Temperatures are getting hot that is for real.

No point in arguing with a conspiracy theorist. They're quite prepared to discount MOUNTAINS of evidence from millions of scientists all over the wolrd in favour of something they read on the internet

Nothing you can say can convince them of the truth

Its when you get politicians buying into the same crap that you have to worry
