When the business was "the wild west" none of us had time to check 50 sponsors daily for stats, things are not the same today. So the 3rd party stats providers are sol.

I got an email from nifty saying something about they had made some changes and updated a bit or things to that effect I don't recall exactly... so seems like they don't plan on going anywhere at the moment.

Those days are long gone bye bye. There are way less affiliates today than 10 years ago, so who needs these 3rd party stats for a fee any more.

I have been doing adult now for a very long time from all aspects including rep (I admit I was a shit rep lol), affiliate manager, back end database monkey and programmer, debit collector (that was fun personally flying to countries to beat the shit out of people), risk assessment, fraud detection and prevention (I was shit hot at that if I do say so myself!), co manager of a gay porn awards program (no I am not gay, well don't think so) only thing I not done is star in any actual porn movies though been on cam a good few times interesting thing was the viewers were more interested in me strangling my girlfriend rather than fucking her hahaha daft cunts were more crazy than me...

Anyway back on topic... I found just sticking to a few sponsors is the better bet rather than using loads as the saying go's "throw enough shit at the wall some of it will stick eventually" .... plus the fact if you use a 3rd party to access your stats etc what the fuck are they really doing with your details and traffic data ? also it is harder to detect if your sponsor is fucking you over as in "skimming" I know of one that is doing it big time at the moment ! I won't mention the name as their programmer / developer used to be a mate of mine I even helped him develop the platform ! not sure if he still works for them or not...

When we upgraded our affiliate area about 6 months ago, we worked with Niftystats and put together a special report page just for them as we have around 30 or so affiliates that use Nifty.

So the point being they were definitely still developing their system back then.
